price of food at shows
datalas:
--- Quote from: "Baby_Rhino" ---went to a heavy horse show today
cost to get in... free
cost for a pint of beer... £2
all the food looked pretty good and everything seemed reasonably priced and the stalls were constantly busy! thats the way to do it! :D
--- End quote ---
well, yes, but how do you know it wasn't the low prices that were being used to motivate the horses "run faster or your next matey"
abinitio:
Food stands at shows are always more expensive than trade stands. Most promotors ask specifically if you want to sell food and on all our contracts for the shows it state undet no circumstances will food/drinks be sold from our stand.
£1.50 for a fair trade coffee wasn't too bad anyway, cheaper than a fair trade coffee shop I have done some work on.
