price of food at shows

went to the show yesterday at gaydon good show some really interesting stands and alot of people .but only 2 food stands which prices were over the top i know i was not the only one moaning as when i went to the doc stand a gentleman there was moaning  .i have four children (bought a tv now )we had 5 cheese burgers and it cost me 18.80 and for 2 coffees for me and my wife it was 3.00 .what i want to know is why on these shows getting away with these prices and why arnt the show organizes ie lrw etc not putting a cap on the prices at least when dick turpin was around he put a gun to your head before he robbed you blind ,is it just me or is there more that think its a rip off ,i know people will say should take pack ups but with young kids they need hot food

Very true... and it's not even the fact that the trade stand space was expensive!!!  So they can't use this as a reason.

Breakfast in the Gaydon Cafe was £6.95.... which shocked a few people... but it was very nice - even nicer with a voucher to get it free  :wink:
