Out and about today I spotted something which the owner probably thinks is cool - me - I think Land Rover should not allow it.

Picture this. Range Rover with SC front end, SC grills, SC BADGE! Looks just like an SC .. until....

Wrong C post
No "fin" on the roof
No exhausts
No performance - BECAUSE IT WAS TD BLOODY 6

No wonder people round here keep trying to race me ....

Supercharged badges should be VIN number related and not sold to people who don't own one. What is the point of putting an SC badge on something that plainly ISN'T?

Might as well stick another vehicle manufacturer badge on it and pretend it's something else it isn't ....

Julie ... since I got the SC I've done a lot less racing. I guess it's something to do with *knowing* that you can trounce a fair amount of the cars that I used to race ;-)

However - I still like stamping on the loud pedal every now and again and hearing the Supercharger howl and the V8 roar....!

In my view one can only object to this if you want to show people how much you spent on your car, otherwise it doesn't matter. :)

Own an M5 then you'll see at least two copies a day with an M badge on :)

You'll also see plenty of people sporting G4 stickers, painting their vehicles in sandglow or tangiers, wearing LR Special vehicle stickers, Warn and ARB graphics when none of the above apply... it's all just part and parcel of it !

Not being completely clued up on RRovers I must admit they all look the same to me - so must save a fortune to just rebadge a lower spec one.

my little 90 has a ' LR special vehicles' badge on the wing but it isnt one - but no one tries to race me! lol

at least one things for sure .... thats a damn fine machine he driving staying true to the range rover style of being the very best ooozing style and performance and thrashers right the felling you get when that charger comes in at very low revs ..ohh what a buzzing drive and stoppin power with huge bremco brakes ...fancy swappin
