I didn't upload the index files with the index page ....

I have new pages to replace with back links I have used notepad in HTML I will try and work out frames  :?

Its a start I do need a different FTP program though

I dont think its that bad for the first attempt

theres an ftp client built in to explorer in windows.
just go to the address bar and type ftp://<server-address>
it should pop up a window asking for your username and password, then its just a case of drag and drop the files. very easy to use

All y'all using notepad to write html - have you tried textpad? It's great - like notepad but with all the useful features you've ever wanted - (search/replace, macros, syntax highlighting, multiple file opening, blah blah blah...)
Get it from (predictably) http://www.textpad.com  8)

There is only one real editor for websites and thats vi.  :wink:  :lol:

Good work tho! Everyone will use an editor which suits them, so just find something your happy with and stick with it.

p.s. Impressive response with all the mud-club proof readers!  We should have a little area to do this kind of thing ;)
