i do some shooting 12Gauge
but 20 Bore good or 410 to start with
or if into pellet guns try her on a Crossman pump action or Sharps inova pump no recoil and acurate to a T !!
I used to bag Hairs Rabbits crows etc with Numatic Air guns
but i use this little beastie more now days and she could get in to Red Letter days i know of some good courses she could take in Falconry or one day to see if she may like it..but before entertaining it requires time and lots of it!!

Dave,
If you fancy another trip down here in a couple of months there's going to be a clay shooting session, its being organised at the moment, but looks like early June.
How would that suit her do you think?

they still use the 303 enfield i did my marksmanship course again a few weeks ago we have to do the course every year and do alot of shoots through the year to keep the qual " bits of paper ftw" the 303 no5 enfield was the wep of choice shoots great very very accurate with match ammo open sights at 600 yards 8)
as for a hobbie shooting is fun no matter what type you go for "target clays blasting tin cans" air rifles are prob the safest way to get into it though there cheap enough and can provide dinner "yum yum bunnys" go for it its fun i do my fullbore shooting with the cadets and air rifles in my yard and at our farm.
