I'm nearly a fully qualified Pharmacist (please no-one say they are fully qualified!!). I know my drugs and their doses!
Dirty Gertie:
As Smartprice has said; alternating doses is safe, and is the most effective way of controlling the pain.
I can sympathise with you, I had Sciatica when I was pregnant; it's like having a breadknife shoved up your buttock!!! OW!!!!
robbie:
not nice mate but as H says, get a Physiotherapist or similar to check it out. Once the joint calcifies, it may not get better EVER!!!!
I get pain in my leg (right one) when my disc goes AWOL and causes the pain by rubbing on the spinal nerves in my lower back. Took 5 years to correctly diagnose some years ago.....
Hope it gets right whatever it is anyway, keep yer chin up

My comment was a bit tongue in cheek but it had a sound basis.
I was just suggesting that NHS direct will be able to give sound advice regarding painkillers. Also advice if that isn't working. NHS Direct will compliment all the NHS services including your local pharmacist and your Family doctor. Advice regarding medicines need to be crystal clear. Wouldnt you agree?
