Well got the crossmember on today wont do another with a Crossmember from paddocks didnt fit right or but up correct all over place..

Got it done in the end but wont do another with a crossmember form Paddocks ..


just got to weld in place but due to taking bets part of the day to correct the fitting it was slow work

The one I got from paddocks was the ones with the chassis pieces on had to trip back as I didn't want to cut away perfectly good chassis, then welded up ok, used the excess to over plate the joins for strength

the actual unit was ok though

Just make sure the cross member is vertical with the tub though

I had to cut a strip off the extensions as they were too long ..
I was having to get a a piece of wood lump hammer to bang it into place and open the extensions to get it to fit correct :twisted:

Right dam game..

Weld it up  tommorow and then onto the new outriggers from Paddocks...mmm :roll:

Gonna fabricate a Top Rail for the bulk head i got some good steel to cut and shut..

i got one from mm4x4  but i think there the same make (spi?) had no probs acually (very suprising). but mine was the 1/4 chassis one.

Have not welded it today i Got a lump Of steel in my Eye from ngle Grinding  and my eye looks like a Tomatoe!! :cry:

Plus Conjunctavitas.. spelling??...on top..Grrrr
