I sanded all the bodywork down today with 80 Grit...yes..80 grit it was the only thing to budge layered paint and it did the trick great!!

I have the rag top on now and after sanding down to finish it will be primer...trouble is ihave heared etch primer is espensive and does not go far??
i have been told that Hamerite do a " special Metal Primer????...
or indeed would i need it as it is not down to the bare metal just flated off the old paintwork like..?
I have fitted a rear tailgate now which looks much better ...funny how the Lightweights look so better with a rag top on...
i thinks its gotta be Green when finished ...original i know..
