--- Quote from: "bombx3" ---can you tell me what can go wrong with thr intercooler please

This does exactly what it says on the tin.
It cools the air going into the engine, and thus makes the air more dense (you can squeeze more in) This is what gives you more power. Coupled with the turbo blowing it in to the engine, loadsa power. If the intercooler cannot supply what the turbo is asking for, then it will create a large vacum. This will cause the hoses to collapse as they are the weakes part.
bombx3:
just looked the fins arnt to bad,is it possible to test the torbo
Sharpshooter:
Cover the air filter inlet with your hand. Does it suck really hard and try to stall the engine. Or is it not making much difference.
As i said before, did you go through muddy water??
bombx3:
sure ive been thrugh loads of deep water earley in the day it was muddy and coming over the windscreen the air filter has got mud marks but its not all covered
Sharpshooter:
take the hose that is collapsing off. and run the engine. Is it still sluggish?
Also, try washing the rad and intercooler from the back to the front, as the mud will be right in there.
