Nut Splitters

Nut splitters are useful, particularly if you don't want to hacksaw / grind off something like a captive bolt.  However, bear in mind you can buy a small angle grinder for peanuts, which is probably going to see a lot more use.

Henry Webster:
If you own a Land Rover an angle grinder is an invaluable tool - well worth owning.  As has been mentioned, needn't be expensive.
