thermidorthelobster:
I make a point of always cutting my hand when doing car / DIY work. If the police ever need a DNA sample from me, they'll find my blood all over the house and the cars. In fact, I cut my finger open this morning, just sitting in the 101.
Range Rover Blues:
Mine would be my top lip. Socket wrench slipped off whilst tightening the rear radius arm, split my lip almost through to my teeth, 2 stitches, teeth survived. Came home and finished the car

About 8 years ago I was drilling out a door aperture on a tressel from a Ford Transit, the frame slipped so I did what most of us do when we drop things ---- tryed to catch it with my left hand while the drill was still going in my right hand, Result was big hole in the palm of left hand, plastic surgery to repair the tendon thingy's & muscle's in my hand leaving a 'z' shaped scar & 20 stiches in my palm 3 months off work & 12 months pysio,
John.
ty:
once took my nose off with a starting handle for a sludge pump, it came out of the slot and instead of letting go i kept hold of it, the last thing i remember was my brother saying was i said you'd fxxxxxg do that. plus all thet usuall things that go with farming and heavy plant engineering, but my the biggest injury is to my pride and joy its currently parked up on the drive after i lost control coming off a roundabout and tipped it on its side and sliding it down the road for about 50 yard or so into on coming traffic, oops :(bigoops):
