Injuries while working on your landrover.

Not mine but I thought this was amusing.
Friend was working on his Defender on his drive and disconnected the brakes. Then he realised he'd not chocked it. It started to roll down the drive, so he ran after it, crossed *in front of it* and leant in the driver's door to grab the handbrake.
At this point the truck ran into the tree at the end of his drive and stopped abruptly. He didn't, and ran into the door, breaking the door off and bruising all down one side of his chest!
I think it was the same guy telling me of a stonemason friend of his who dropped his angle grinder, and tried to catch it. I don't think he was a stonemason for much longer. :x

When I first started welding, the Foreman said to me," if you get a bit of weld splatter go down the back of you overalls, fold your arms and lean forward, it will only burn you in one spot" YEAH RIGHT........This bit of splatter was the size of a pea, I leant forward like I was told, but it burn't so much I stood up and the splatter went down my back and stopped between the cheeks of my a'#e leaving a blister on each cheek the size of plumb.
None of you have seen me yet, but I have a beard, well sort of beard, it reaches my belly button {ZZ TOP Style}. Many years ago I was grinding away at some welds on a prototype, when the grinder caught my sweatshirt and was winding its way up to my throat, luckily enough a worker was approaching me and see what was happening and pulled the plug on the grinder stopping it dead. 1 inch from adams apple. didnt have the beard then thankfully, otherwise, well
