i have a side exit exhust that comes out the rear ring and have never failed a mot yet will take a pic tomoz for ya guys  :D

Most Series Land Rovers have side exit exhausts as well.  :wink:

Bulli:
as do many classic sports cars, ac cobra ..i dont think where it exits is an mot requirement

their is a rule, i think to cant end under the vehicle has to either come somewhere, so as to get the fuumes away from the car rather than filling the cabin up, can get this confirmed if you need, mates an mot tester
