Bulli:
150 gets you adecent mig from B+q just dont ask the assistant about it ...they look puzzled!
Last 'professional' landrover specialist i had any welding doen by weld through my, wait for it, fule line!!! I happily picked her up and headed home ..about half a mile later i noticed a very strong petrol smell. When i got out i backed away slowly and called the aa!
If you can learn to do it then nows the time, its a great skill to have and it isnt rocket science or voodoo.

j99mud:
hmm seems like this is definatley something i need to invest in, I will leave the replaceing of the new crossmember to the garrage but i think that will be my new years resolution to learn to weld. its a shame, this is the first time i have had to put it into a garrage for anything usually me and my dad do any work on it that needs doing (well more dad than me to be honest)

Bulli:
