That is know to me as the North Yorkshire wave.  My Mate up there does it.

When out in my Series 1 I very often get a wave even from the far east imports. In the Disco it's a different story unless it's another enthusiat. I have even gone to work one day in the Series and got a wave, but the next dayin the Disco the same driver will totaly blank you out even if I wave first. :(

I had someone waving to me and flashing their lights near Whaddon when they were on their way to Whaddon.

I felt really guilty when SWTSMBO took time out during our domestic to point out they'd flashed and waved.

She really knows how to hit below the belt :lol:

seriously though i wave at ALL 4x4 drivers (don't usually get a response though) and i'm only usually a passenger (must find a driving school that uses LR's!)
