Ahhh, what's new??

I got worried a while ago when some weirdo on a Quad waved at me on the  A64

Range Rover Red:
I've been driving the Battle Bus for a week and apart from a couple of displays of totally unexpected courtesy from a Mercedes on the A1 and a Mini on the A619 I have been totally ignored so far.  I waved to a Disco yesterday (the rest of the time I'm trying not to crash as I'm not used to the steering yet) and he didn't wave back.  I thought 'up yours mate' and continued on my merry(???) way to work.  (The RR looks great in the car park next to all the BMW X5s    .)  But having read the above, I don't feel so alone now.

As a disco driver lol i always wave back ......

i always wave my fiance rekons im weird but she knew that anyway
i get more waves from 90's etc and a few odd waves from from disco's but most round here are on the school run duties.  joe

Spacemud:
Around here (Shropshire/Mid Wales border) there is quite a mix made up of farmers, off roaders, and school runners. I always wave at anyone with a 'prep'd' vehicle (it's pretty obvious with most). Sadly no disco driver has ever reciprocated, it is always the Defender, 90, or Rangie driver.
I still think given time that will change. I used to drive a moggy van and just about every other Morris minor driver would give a friendly wave as they passed.
