Dumb Question

If you find its takes a fair few miles to get warm then mine is the same. My Td5 takes about 15 mins before it showing normal temp on the gauage.

Unless some one can expain/ or do i have a knackered thermostat.

Mine warms up to about 1/3 of the temp guage quite fast, but the last bit takes a while.  I believe it's something to do with the 'bottom-hose thermostat' system that the thing uses, but don't quote me on that.

Thats how mine works, so is it a case of "they all do that, sir" ?

When it is hot, do you find that it cools back to the 1/3 if you let it tick over or does it stay hot?
