I look under the bonnet of the disco and its a big wedge of plastic. So rather than take all the covers off to find it, can someone tell me which cover to remove to get at the thermostat housing please? In the old days you used to just follow the top rad hose, but no, some git decided that was too easy...

sounds like a td5 to me

if its a TD5 the thermostat isnt on the engine,its in a plastic ball on the drivers side at the front between the radiator & the engine
