Bishops Finger:
Soz did I miss something..has he been ill?

datalas:
Righty ho chaps, since this is clearly an emotive issue I'd like to say the following.

For reasons beyond our control a man has died, which is by definition a bad thing, death is never a laughing matter nor is it something to joke about regardless of the person that died.

I can see that there are a number of views about how he conducted his life, which are both the source of a great deal of emotion and strained feelings.

However, this sort of thing can rapidly descend into moral judgement and a tirade against the transplant system or whoever knows what else.

Tonight a human being is no longer alive, this will sadden some and leave others bewildered,  either way, can we say no more about it ?

For reasons beyond our control  Do you mean he didn't own a Landy?

Which by definition is a bad thing...Yes  He's [!Expletive Deleted!] dead

I just loath the amount of time /media spent about this guy  He was a great footballer Id just feel a bit happier if I knew the money spent trying to keep him alive kept more hosptal emergancy services funded

Thankfully we live in a country where our medical care is not decided by someone's value of our worth or how much we deserve it.

As datalas says...  some respect for the family and the passing of a human being is requested.

datalas:
apparently most of his healthcare was paid for privately by his son.

just thought I'd mention that bit.
