<< < (2/3) > >>

vtrdaz:
thanks chaps ,
theres no noises at all like air escaping , but if i rev the car in neutral you can here the turbo spin.
It's a w reg if that makes any difference.

Cheers
Darren

Rich_P:
Well, I know on a petrol car we had which was Turbocharged, the Turbo would not spin any faster than the idle speed when the engine was revved in neutral.

Also wouldnt be under anywhere near the same load as a driven car so you wouldnt hear any air escapes reving in neutral

Xtremeteam:
is it sluggish all the time or just below 2500/3000rpm??

if its just sluggish below 2 1/2k i rekon air flow meter

littlepow:
Did the car just go sluggish suddenly with no other symptoms?

Had a similar problem with my old rover. It was a split in the hose between the turbo and intercooler.
