Must be nice to live where you live. Round here the trick is likely to be a brick through your window or a firework through you letter box.
OAPs sit in the dark all night and dont answer the door. It is not unknown for the trick or treaters to play the trick even after they get the treat.

Fair point. Thats why my mum used to ring ahead but even so, its a quiet little village.
Sorry state of affairs this country with hoodies and the like abusing the halloween.

we had four lots of kids call but they were all about 15/16 and they dont even bother to dress for there treat, i scared the cr*p out of one lot, they were walking down my drive as i came up it in the 90 i must have got the accelerator instead of the break, my cant they run! It's at times like this I'm pleased to live in the middle of nowhere. :D I may be becoming a grumpy old man, (so I've been told), But not a miserable git. I hope. :roll: We laid on a ghost walk for our grandkids and children of some friends in the woods, :(scared): with a buffet afterwards. The hot punch a neighbour made was grand as owt. :lol: Made having 22 people in the house bearable. :(bloodshot):
