FUEL PRICES

Oh well, that price didn't last long! :evil:
Went into Stornoway yesterday and what was on the board at the filling station...................
Unleaded - £1.05.9
Diesel - £1.06.9
That's 5 pence a litre rise in 3 days!! :(bigangry):
Still, got enough in the tank to get me to Inverness next Wednesday so I'll fill up there before heading South to Hull. :?

ours went a bit weird.. one day it was 95.9 unleaded and 99.9 diesel... then the next day it was 102.9 and 104.9 which there was an uproar about, so they took it down to 100.9 and 102.9 the day after... just after i filled up :evil:
either way 7p increase was a bit of a joke! but somehow doubt it will be going down again any more!

It depends how much discomfort people are willing to endure in order to make a stand. Last time things were happening and the government were scared, but half the folk you spoke to were moaning cos they had no fuel to get to work or Asda.
