GOOD FOR A LAUGHit brightens up a worrying time

This worries me, I'm at sea and due home in a week, will I be able to get a hire car or fill my car when I get home?

It's true the cost of fuel is sky high; we really see it on the marine fuels (buying 1650 tones you don't need a high %age to make a difference!)

The thing is here to me that is what a government should do; recognize the public should not have to suffer and cushion the blow using their cut from tax. It's not as if it's a permanent thing just a short term measure to keep the country operating.

The 110 has 90Lt of LPG and 18 Gallons of petrol. The 90 has a full tank of deasel and I have 25Lt of veg oil (duty paid and I have the reciept to prove it so there Mr Excise man) in reserve. Sorted.

Budgie:
I was looking to see if there were going to be any fuel protests in Europe this week and found this on the BBC Website.
The article is titled " EU governments take fuel action" and makes interesting reading, mainly when you get to the last paragraph!!

Makes you proud to be British........................................NOT!
