on what evidence is that comment based-check www.boostlpg.co.uk
old brownie has agreed to give 3yrs notice of duty rise
plus he'd have egg on face as everyone cries about pollution and lpg is super clean and a waste product which otherwise would be dumped causing more pollution
I've ha d a gas truck for 18 months now and have heard these comments fom the day I got it-still paying 36/ltr now.

I wouldn't be too bitter if that's the case! :D :D
The fact is that there is a freeze on the duty on LPG for three years. The government have tried to encourage it's use as a vehicle fuel because of it's green ceredentials but also because it's a fuel we produce ourselves and have huge stockpiles of. There is no reason for the government to incease duty because there still isn't enough users. The last thing they will do is put off people converting to the fuel by dramatically increasing the price. When (if) LPG becomes as popular as 'traditional' fuels, then I'll start to worry.

At the rate of incrase on diesle prices I think I might have to splash out on an lpg conversion, the rate they keep taxing us on fuel it will pay for its self in two weeks
hopefully a good long blockade should bring prices down well maybe :)
