Hightower:

--- Quote from: "TimothyM" ---LPG started with a low tax as an incentive for people to use it, this tax was frozen for '?' number of years, but this 'freeze' will run out soon, and then there will be a sudden price jump.

That's what they did with diesel to a certain extent.  Now it's more expensive the petrol

littlepow:
that's because it became popular fuel for cars!

Bob696:
Just filled up with veg oil (duty paid) at a local place (thanks Ed) and am taking a container their tomorrow to get some more  :)

davidlandy:
I think that with gas prices they have to give 2-3 yrs notice of duty price increases.

if they havent given this notice then the duty levels remain at the current level for 2-3 yrs.

...i could be wrong of course.

philbert:
i'M SORRY BUT WHAT WILL BLOCKADES AT THE REFINERYS ACHIVE?

It's the governments fuel escalator to blame at the moment they charge 47.1p per litre tax!!

We should blockade downing street or better still vote these lying deceitfull b'stards out next time around :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x
