V8 Distributor rubber glove thingy
hobbit:
This is it with the petrols, it more of a splash protection than waterproof, if the water is up to the dizzy, it'll be round the plugs as well
It worked on the Lightweight, until the glove disintegrated, but that was 10 months later

A one gallon plastic container works well.

Range Rover Blues:
I bought the kit and it does it's job well. One peice for the coil, the other for the dizzy. If the engine gets wet it's arcing between the ends of the leads that causes problems so it's worth having, except that I've had mine since November last and it's f****d already, perished like nothing I've ever seen and is now stuck to the dizzy, if I remove if it will be no more. At £25 plus the dreaded I'm not too happy.
Topple:
use a couple of yellow rubber gloves and cut the ends of the fingers off then seal at the top and bottom.

yep thats what i used after asking on here and it improved the problem 100% so now i dont get stuck in the water cos the engine cut out, still not been brave enough yet to remove the fan though and rely on the electric fans for cooling
