take an interest,they took 1 in me AFTER i reported a hit & run i was the victim off ,got stopped bout 6 times just after it aswell,since then got very little respect for them  although the 2 coppers who let me off with just a fine for my windows were nice guys

:wink: having driven lots and lots of mini's in my day.(I also helped start a couple of local clubs)I can tell you that nothing puts the s**ts up you more, when your on 10ins road wheels,then the sight of a dirty great winch sticking out the front of a 4x4! And i have seen the god awful damage that a unmodified 4x4 can do to a clubman estate.But were does that line of thinking lead too.Plus i wasn't asking for a public servey on bush-ties  :roll: just the legal precident for external stowage etc,but as long as we dont get to reactionary i suppose thats o.k. :wink:

 but don't most new cars come with tool kits, I know bikes do. if all tucked away in tool boxes and secure, he would have to be a unwise cop to take you in for it, especily when in all polls in police satifaction, always come out with very low scores  :wink:
 Anyway these days unless things come out clear on the speed camera's  :evil:  not much chance of being told off about things hanging off you cars  :lol:

Turn them on the side and pop door frames open, the police use a smaller version to stretch the frames and release the locks
