Gonna have to disagree with you there I'm afraid... having seen the damage steel wire rope can do to a person's body, I don't think I am over-playing it at all.

He was doing 45mph.  The reports were that it was a wire in his yacht rigging that sliced the woman's leg off.

And the difference is?  :?

I'm not trying to whizz on your fireworks, but I think it's very easy to be casual about this sort of thing without thinking about the consequences.  Once the damage is done, it's a bit late to pontificate.

As i said mine can be taken of and on.So would only be used laning.And having ridden mountain bikes and motor bikes for many a year am well aware of hazzards posed by other road users.But in around about way got some of my questions answered.As i said i was interested in the legal president cheers any way :wink:

Yeah, have to agree with this, I kite surf using dyneema lines and these easily cut flesh under power (have seen this happen) and steel wire can only be worse.
What about the insurance company, are they aware of this mod?
And how many times have you had an unseen bow of a tree hit your windscreen? Surely by the very nature of it coming to hit the windscrren it is by definition in view......

last time i had an unseen bow hit my screen was when the tree i hit was holding the motor up from goin over & was slightly wedged in  :lol:
