I am confused on why you want a side vent. What will it be doing / venting?

If you really want to do something that no other has done, why not do as I started.

Lift the body by 60mm, then lift all bumpers, you can now clean under the body properly and weld any plates on that need to be.

Now take a spare tyre and lie it on the bonnet, draw around the tyre and cut out the centre, you now have a scrap bonnet :)

Drop said spare into the newly created big hole. make up a holder, ala series stylee, and weld into the bonnet.

You now have one of only a few, possibly the only one, spare mounted on the bonnet in a disco, with no loss of vision, well not much anyway.

I did this and found that with the 60mm drop at the back and going down as far as possible with the front (which is alot, as there is some unused space) I managed to really drop the wheel in.

Anywho, if you did that, then maybe you say with authourity you had a unique disco.
