Anyone help with a bush part No?
« on: December 23, 2004, 13:17:04 »
I need to replace the bushes that go on the chassis end of the rear lower link of my 200tdi, the big ones with three bolts holding them in place.  I can't find them in the Paddocks catalogue/web site.

Does anybody know the part number?

Strange one this one. LR part number is NTC9027 but paddocks don't sell that part but they do sell NRC7491, but don't take my word for it, you never know with paddocks  :D

Hm, according to Craddocks, those parts are:

NRC7491 - MOUNTING RUBBER REAR RADIUS ARM 90/110 DISCO TO 1991 & RRC

NTC9027 - BUSH FRONT OF REAR RADIUS ARM 90/110 199 0 MY ON & RRC DISCO 1992 MY ONWARDS.

Now I'm confused!   :?

Ring Rimmer bros. for help and ask them to send you a free catalogue at the same time.
Blue,  1988  Range Rover 3.5 EFi with plenty of toys bolted on
Chuggaboom, 1995 Range Rover Classic
1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.

STC618

Neither Paddocks nor Craddocks had that part.

Rimmer Bros did though.  I've always used *addocks in the past, but I think Rimmer Bros are now going to get a lot of trade.  (Brit)parts in stock, next day delivery, super cool colour catalogue.

All I have to do is fit them (along with the soon to be rebuilt rear axle).  You know the old ones are bad when the following happens:

Go to remove nuts/bolts holding bush in place
Solid as a rock, more rust than metal
Use breaker bar (ugh!) to attempt removal
Bolt snaps
Leave half of thumb attached to bottom of side step
