Series II Disco Boot Dimensions please
« on: July 10, 2006, 23:30:43 »
Any one got the boot dimensions for the Series II Disco please :D
Trying to reason with the missus why we should get a Disco as opposed to the Focus estate. She reckons the Disco boot will be smaller than the Focus  The Focus has ample room for 2 medium sized Collie dogs.
Other choices will be P38 RR or X-Type Jag estate
Cheers
Andy

Put into perspective, thats just over 6 cubic feet extra in the Discovery . . . and much better access for the dogs to jump in and out    :P

Hope she goes for it fella

Tell me about it fella - fact of life these days that most of us are up to our necks in mortgages, car loans and other credit bills . . . . . all we want is a life and don't they make us pay for it

Ah well. at least you can be sure that in two years time the price of a decent motor will probably be somewhat less than it is now

Ok so I know it’s a long way off but don’t forget to tell her if it’s a five seater Disco there are also two additional large storage bins in the back. We find them handy for all sorts of things dogs water, bowls, leads and other k9 Parafunalia in one side and general essential and useful stuff like first aide kits and tools etc in the other.   8)

I was chatting to Andy H earlier, his missus' new Fiesta thingy is a 1600 and is returning only 28 1/2 mpg
Yet another excuse fora Disco

Given it will outlast the Focus, it has a much lower carbon footprint too.
