storage in rear disco

hi would like some info on a type sliding drawer for tool and recovery kit for the rear of my disco 1 would like to keep to minimum height as still need platform for dogs anybody done this themselfs or have any good idears would be most gratefull oh and by the way what is the correct way to remove the rear bumper on this vehicle as i have yet to fit my southdown rear tank guard all help /advice would be great cheers all regards colin

If you don't need a full depth/length drawer, have a look at this.

thats a nice drawer dave looking good for what i have in mind thanks for pics i also like the look of thee little one from bush tucker man i got 6 seats and use the other for storage

I picked up, what I think is called, an under bed box, from Anchor Surplus. They are bomb proof and fit nicely between the wheel arches and sit nicely up to the seats when you've trimmed a bit off with a circular saw.
It can be bolted down and made easily removable if you needed to use the back seats (dickie seats) The lid lifts up on hinges making it easy to gain access to the compartment.
