Where abouts in the Highlands are you going then Lee?

The fuel prices are okay in Mainland Towns, it's the islands and small villages in the middle of nowhere that the price goes up. They say it's delivery costs!!

lee celtic:
I have a camp booked on the eastern side of the trosocks (sorry if thats spelt wrong) for a five night stay then up to arisaig for a week and in the middle of that week we are heading up the west coast too who knows where for a couple of nights without the caravan (hotels / b&b's needed must take a dog ) so we can cover more miles then down for a couple of nights in the lakes on the way home to brake up the drive home. 8)

Budgie:
Why not take the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale and do a tour of Skye, you should find something in or around Portree and if you do a search of hotels & B&B's on http://www.visitscotland.com then they normally tell you which ones take dogs.
