Hurrahh! More Yorkshire folk :lol:

And Saltaire is a wonderful place as well, to the west of Saltaire in a place known as Gilstead (& hidden in the trees &undergrowth) is the ruined mansion of the son of Titus Salt.
Apparantly, if you know exactly where to look, walls & floors can be found still bearing paint & mosaics (or could be about 10-12years ago)

Got to agree with 'Lowey', it's the little things that make it all worthwhile.
For example;
1. Shipley Glen tramway
2. Saltburn funicular railway
3. Scarborough naval battles in Peasholm Park (not keen on the town itself though)

--- Quote from: "lowey" ---:If it was just a matter of bums on seats then I would put it on my must visit list. It is now on the must visit list and will combine it with trips to Haworth for Bronte (missus) & K&WV lt railway (me) this summer.  quote]

K&WV Railway is lovely. We tend to sit in the bar in the buffet car and ride up and down all day!
