It's certainly not a good thing to happen, I've seen the results before :(
The closer it is to home, the harder it hits.


It almost happened to me a while ago. I had a puncture in Otley & pulled over to change the tyre (front near-side) & got out the (standard) bottle-jack.
Chocked the wheels & placed the jack.
As I got to the required height it slipped sideways in the gutter (thankfully the wheel was still on & I had no part of my body under it)

It's so easily done though
