hi folks
         
             i have just bought a home modified sj cheap it neede a lot of work just to get it how it is now but i have a few questions 4 u guys.

1.it has a 1.6 8valve vitara engine in it with a webber carb Q. WHAT SU CARB CONVERSION COULD I USE AND HOW CAN I MATE IT TO MY MANIFOLD.

2.WHAT OIL DO I PUT IN THE DIFFS

3. IT HAS HAD A COIL OVER CONVERSION (OF SORTS)
I INTEND TO PUT LEAVES BACK ON THE BACK AGAIN BUT THE FRONT SEEMS TO BE OK IF I (SPOA) THE BACK WHAT SPRINGS AND SHOCKS COULD I PUT ON THE FRONT TO GET THE SAME AMOUNT OF LIFT.

4.WOULD ANYONE RECCOMEND PUTTING THE RAD ON THE BACK?

He has just taken delivery of an SJ  and is modding it  (as well as thrashing the living daylights out of it!)

Glad to see you had the good taste to get an SJ!
One thing at a time:
First, why change the Webber? with the addition of an oversize fuel filter or fuel canister you shouldn't get fuel starvation on steep inclines. If you want an SU manifold, Rhino Rays does one.
The diffs on SJ's should use 90 weight gear oil
Increased ride height can be got at the front either by Ironman Springs available through Moorland 4x4 centre 01566 777200 ask for Bob or check my site before Spring as I hope to be importing some direct for my own Club Members.
