live8 tickets on ebay
landyman Ash:
Hmmm, I suppose so. They have to draw a line and I suppose they have to stick to that.
With all the poublicity of Live8 I just feel ebay (and the organisers of Live8) should of planned for this and put never let it happen.
xmob:
I'm NOT with eBay on this one.
Personally, I'm not interested in the concert, but my best mate is 'cos he found out Pink Floyd are to play. He REALLY was going to pay £750 for some tickets, but eBay pulled the listing before he could complete the transaction.
You have to consider this:
The sale of charity concert tickets doesn't go against eBays normal policies
The sale of tickets won in a raffle is not illegal
NO money from ticket sales (wins) is going to charity, the concert is to raise awareness only.
I didn't see eBay stopping people selling all the charity wrist bands that they were selling at inflated prices. My son wanted one of the football/nike anti-racism ones. If you could find any in normal shops (impossible!) they cost £1. On eBay some where fetching £20+. I emailed many sellers asking if the extra cash was going to the charity, not one replid.

 I hope when all the profiteering ebayers selling their live aid tickets look in a mirror at their own faces they do not see their own face but that of a starving fly infested African child with a bloated belly begging for food.
Perhaps they drink Horlicks so that they can sleep at night.
Hope they never have to suffer like those children are suffering, it makes me so angry but very sad that this is the extent of civilised human nature & freewill at large.
SHAME ON THEM (sorry for shouting) rant mode off now.
