Engine Paint
« on: June 06, 2005, 00:16:55 »
Can anyone recommend a decent engine paint - so many on the market dont know which to go for. Frosts do a paint for 15quid a tin - is it any good. Also want to repaint the exhaust manifolds in silver.
I've also heard of a galvanise paint but cant remember what its called - some of the holes on the new chassis need re-drilling so will need touching up.
Cheers
Andy

MOD tend to paint their engines duck egg green although this tends to be a preservative for long term storage it seems to be very durable in use.

Dont know where u get it though. :)
