Mk1 - Daignostic codes
« on: May 27, 2005, 21:09:36 »
I have codes 12, 13 and 25 coming from the diagnostic connector.

12 is for the Mass Air Flow Sensor
13 is for the Intake Air Temerature Sensor
25 is for the Baromtric Pressure Sensor

Symptoms are that the engine ticks over sort of OK but has no power/guts when the accelerator is pressed.

Gentle working of the pedal will allow some power to move forward but it dies on hills

we have changed the Mass Air Flow unit but it made the matters worse.

Any ideas?? Could any one of these be causing additional problems with  each other?? I dunno which way to turn
If I could only find some mud to play in, I would be as happy as the preverbial pig!!!
