dont how ever unclip the pivit pin from the clutch arm as its a pain to clip back in unless u do what i did & cut a 3 inch hole in the bellhousing(well it was on christmas day & it was snowing n i was doin it outside)

I did this when it came to change my slave cylinder.... and i found a good way was to just use DOT 3 instead of DOT4 brake fluid.... its thicker and doesnt leak out!! its cheaper aswell!!!

I hope you aren't seriously thinking of hitting the slave cylinder with a hammer :shock:
It is bolted into a cast Aluminium bell housing !!!
