Only of interest to other Radio Amateurs I suppose.

The RSGB news contained Eugene's name and callsign. A strange move given he may not want "fans" of the show to know where he lives.

I have to disagree. This year and every year like it or not they have selected a group of people which reflect a cross section of social public.

You may find some odd or "freaky" but believe me take a look and who's walking around Billing when it's on and those who wear nothing but Land Rover clothing with the bushtucker hats on and try and say that's not freakish to others. Each to there own, just don't judge people on what you see.

Well I heard it loud and clear.

As this is a site for CHILDREN and adults, men and WOMEN, I do not think that what you said was an appropriate thing to say.

I do understand that you, as a boy   , may not be able to grasp the feelings that most women would have about your statement.  But if it makes you think in the future about what you are saying, and how you possibley make other people feel, then maybe it was worth doing.

Which is all well and good, but the simple fact is that no cross section of society would happen to include every racial minority, prejudice, and fetish in such a succinct way.  From the ten minutes I have seen of this years if they are a "true" cross section then most of the population are gay, selfish, insanely camp, thick, have no concept of history, have never lived in a group or ever worked in a profesional environment.

Each year, as an attempt to increase ratings they are increasingly scraping the bottom of the barrel.   Either that, or they are merely taking a cross section of the likely viewers...

I have avoided it this year, despite having had a mild interest in the first years proceedings, simply because people have since stopped behaving in what I percieve as a realistic manner.

Just my .02$ of course.
