Freewheel Hubs
« on: May 09, 2005, 00:40:05 »
Hi all

We've got 2 pairs of freewheel hubs sitting around doing nothing (1 used & 1 brand new & boxed).

My stepdad had a lightweight a few years ago and bought 1 set to put on it, but never got around to doing it.  He sold the lightweight, but kept the hubs.

Why we've got a second set is anyone's guess (both sets are the same make, size etc).

I'd like to know roughly what they're worth as we're not likely to have another series Landy and so will be looking to sell them.

Thanks

James

I think they're only about £60 new so not a great deal.

I paid £25 for a pair of as-new Fairey FWH.

Probably not what you wanted to hear  :(

It's better than them sitting in the back of the workshop cabinet gatering dust.

I was wrong about them both being new and the same make.

One pair are Superwinch, the other, AVM.

They're both 24 spline (i think).

If you PM me, I'll send you a ZIP file with all the photos I've taken of them.
