jacking up a L322

hi, he did that and the jack give way as it was at its limit and wheels were still on ground. i will let him know cheers for the help

Not being funny, but it's independent suspension, I've owned 4 L322's and NEVER had a problem jacking them up with the standard jack, using the correct procedure as per the manual. Don't strap it up and it's not recommended to use a trolley jack unless you know exactly where to jack.

thats ok, where is the best place to jack from using a trolley jack as the standard one is knacked after the collapse

If you look under the struts, you should be able to see somewhere the trolley 'cup' will seat, but be aware that you are jacking the car in a way it is not expecting - by compressing the suspension. Ensure the keys are out of the vehicle and it is on level ground, otherwise it WILL attempt to compensate.
