jacking up a L322

(1/2) > >>

GORDON N:
hi, a work mate has got a L322 and when he jacks it up as per handbook the body lifts but he can't get the jack to go high enough to lift wheels clear of the ground with either the jack that comes with the car or a trolley jack is there a way of lifting so wheels come of the ground without using a 4 post lift

cheers gordon

Dr Neil:
If you have a trolley jack just put it under the axle the side you want to lift and jack away.

GORDON N:
cheers will let him know tomorrow

Thrasher:
Er....the standard jack works fine, make sure he has followed the instructions. Keys NOT in the ignition, low range selected, wheels chocked and straight.....

cheers for that i will let him know
