I managed to get a set from one of the big military surplas places, just went along and they took a couple off an ex-army 110, cost me 15 quid a pair, never had any probs with them.

I don't know any descent Military Surplus places near me, but if you paid £15 for used ones, then around £30 for a pair of new ones sounds quite reasonable, and the £10-£15 new ones sound cheap and worthless - back to the David Bowyer site I think.

Yeah, but it if you like things "army" then Anchor is the place to go. No, I don't work there. But I'd like to, if they have staff discount.
