depressing
« on: January 28, 2012, 07:53:56 »
Hi all,

Having had to go through the accounts I have found that my diesel bill for the year was just under 2 grand! So on an average price of say 1.359 per litre for the year that is 1471 litres or 327gallons at 27mpg average that is 8830 miles. Hardly profligate in terms of distance covered, yet I barely cover it with the income from my second job. It's pointless trying to have a decent life balance in this country any more. Were it not for the inbuilt British xenophobia I would leave to sunny climes.

Well that's set the tone for the morning, boo hiss.
Lambert Coverdale.

As slow as possible, as fast as necessary.

Two and a half litres of turbocharged diesel goodness.
