Brakes. 300 V8
« on: January 22, 2012, 19:32:35 »
Hi All.

I just spent hours getting the bolts out of my front calipers to change the discs. the guy who had it before rounded off all the bolts and after trying every type of 13mm socket (12 point , 6 point , center torque , surface torque ) I lost the plot and hammered a 12mm 12 point on and it worked great..lol

My question is to the people who know. Before I remove the rear bolts  I want to order new ones. Like I did for the front. Are the bolts the same as the front.?? in size that is...or does anyone know the part number for the rear bolts.. Disco 300 3.9 V8 1996.

I have looked for the part number of the front bolts  and on some sites it says front and rear applications. It's not the cost I just don't want to have the wrong bolts ready when re assembling the car..

Thanks ... :cheesy:

I never notcied, i thought they were the same.  Unless the length is different, they should be the same thread and 12 point head.
