autobox woes 2!

--- Quote from: Dirt-Devil on January 10, 2012, 12:05:50 ---If your loosing power for a small amount of time it won't be your box, try flushing your fuel lines as there might be a small block somewhere and staving the engine a bit which would result in power & rev loss

Has it solved your problem?
Range Rover Blues:
Do the revs drop when it happens (if you have noticed) and what sort of speed are we talking about. Is it regular?
mattyme:
yeah, the revs drop by around 500 revs and it is regular, every sort of 6 or 7 seconds....
it happens at most speeds, when going uphill and i kick down to 2nd gear i feel it, in 3rd with my foot down i feel it, on the motorway in the overdrive gear and going uphill i feel it too
i find if ive got my foot further down its seems more violent tho its still just a slight loss in power and revs for around a second then it comes back....
also, the cruise control doesnt work. its niggling me that these are related.
not tried the sedimenter yet. havent had time with work.
James.Harwood:
When was the fuel filter last changed, the RR does similar when the filter is starting to go, followed by a decrease in max revs.....
mattyme:
ive done faoirly regular FF changes as ive been running on bio diesel...
its nothing to do with bio tho as it was doing it when i first got the truck
