trooper 3.1 clunking in 4wd

hi,i have a 3.1 trooper i use for trialing,after the last event it had a front end clunk in 4wd,i thought it was a cv internal problem but when i stripped it the outer splines had stripped inside the free wheel hub.hope this helps.
