Not far from the Claerwen Reservoir in wales Paul.

We pulled over to the side to let a group of bikes past and there was a 'soft spot".  One stuck 110 was the result. I went to walk round the front to help  and found out the soft spot went on for about another 6ft in front of the 110
I only stepped off the path about 18"

Edit>Mukky  I was the car in front of the 110 that got stuck and somehow missed it. Although Karen was silly enough to have the window open and looking out as I pulled off and got a face full of mud for her troubles (and I learnt a few new swear words as well)

to be fair to the bikers they wouldnt have known as he only sank as he tried to move forward off the verge. I had gone 200 yds before someone yelled out to stop.

Besides, we had had a good laugh at another group as they tried to get round him earlier

Talking of "soft verges", my wife is French and when she first saw the signs Beware Soft Verge she started howling with laughter. Apparently verge in French means willy!!
